“Never underestimate the power of a small group of scrapbookers and crafters! This was my first fundraiser for the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter in West Virginia where our dog “Howard” was at. We got him eight years ago when we lived in Pittsburgh, PA.

Fast forward – I now live in Palm Coast, Florida, so it took a lot of organization and planning since I was flying up to do the weekend retreat/ fundraiser. We had ladies attending from WV, PA, OH, KY, and also two ladies attending drove 9-1/2 hours from Ontario, Canada — so I had my first international attendees!

Thirty-four ladies attending — only four who I personally knew. Four ladies signed up to be Advisors, and we raised a final total of $6,680.55 for the shelter. I am returning next year to do it again and we are already 70% filled!! If you love animals, come join us!
