“I was a vendor at a friend's crop this weekend and I was going to host a beginner class for some of the other crafters. I did a short presentation on what's new with CM and one of the scrapbookers asked if I would do a short class on the features of the 12 in trimmer. I didn't have anyone interested in the beginner class but I had six attend the trimmer features class. So fun and even people who had been using the trimmer were not aware of all the little gems. None of these had purchased their trimmer from me but I thought I will do a one page infographic on some of the hidden features for future sales and classes.”

“I taught a Beginner Class on May 26 using Simple Page Kits while on vacation visiting family. The guests were two nieces, their Mom (my sister-in-law) and one of my sons who probably wouldn't have joined in if we weren't on vacation and together with his cousins. My SIL wanted a smaller album so I gave her a Horizontal Pocket Page and showed her how to cut apart her SPK to fit the pockets. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I had my highest sales for a Beginner Class with both nieces choosing Global Getaway Album Kits and my SIL ordering a Scrap Journal + pocket pages. Their order arrived today so I was able to explain how to use the Kits and they were thrilled with their free Tote Bags, too. The biggest win is that the women are finally all excited to create their own albums after many attempts over the years to persuade them to try it. Switching my verbiage from 'scrapbook' to 'album' seemed to make a difference since they have used pocket-style albums before. Thanks Home Office for making it simpler to teach beginners with SPKs to transition into becoming album makers! My nieces were happy to do unboxing reels for me, too!”
